Thank you for shopping with Perspection Spirits. This Shipping Policy outlines our procedures, restrictions, and requirements for shipping alcoholic beverages. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

IMPORTANT: Due to federal, state, and local laws governing the shipment of alcoholic beverages, we can only ship to certain states and addresses. All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery.

1. Shipping Restrictions

1.1 Legal Requirements
We ship alcoholic beverages in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The shipment and delivery of alcohol is heavily regulated, and we take our legal obligations seriously.

1.2 States We Ship To
We currently ship to the following states:

State laws change frequently. We reserve the right to modify our shipping destinations at any time without prior notice.

1.3 Address Restrictions
We CANNOT ship to:
P.O. Boxes or USPS postal facilities
APO/FPO/DPO military addresses
Colleges, universities, or school campuses
Correctional facilities
Any address where local laws prohibit alcohol delivery
Freight forwarders or package consolidation services

We can only ship to residential and business addresses where an adult aged 21 and up will be available to sign for delivery.

2. Age Verification and Signature Requirements

2.1 Adult Signature Required

ALL alcohol shipments require an adult signature 21 years old at the time of delivery. Someone 21 years or older with a valid government issued photo ID must be present to:
Sign for the package
Show proof of age

Acceptable forms of ID include:
Valid drivers license
State issued ID card
Military ID
Passport

2.2 Failed Delivery Attempts
If no one 21 is available to sign for the delivery:
The carrier will make up to 3 delivery attempts
After failed attempts, the package will be held at a local carrier facility for pickup you must bring valid ID
If not claimed within 5 business days the package will be returned to us
You will be responsible for return shipping costs and may be subject to a restocking fee

2.3 Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a shipment is refused, returned as undeliverable, or the recipient cannot provide valid proof of age:
Original shipping charges are non refundable
Return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund
A 20 dollar restocking fee may apply
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned product

3. Shipping Methods and Timeframes

3.1 Available Shipping Options
We ship via UPS:
Standard Ground Shipping: 3 to 7 business days
Expedited Shipping**: 2 to 5 business days
Overnight Shipping: 1 to 2 business days where available

Note: Expedited and overnight shipping may not be available to all destinations due to carrier restrictions on alcohol shipments.

3.2 Order Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days of receipt
Orders placed after 12:00 PM est may be processed the next business day
We do not process or ship orders on weekends or holidays
During peak seasons holidays, promotional periods, processing times may be extended to 3 to 5 business days

3.3 Transit Time
Transit time begins after your order has been picked up by the carrier. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by:
Weather conditions
Carrier delays
Natural disasters
Customs clearance if applicable
Incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses
Recipient unavailability

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:
Package weight and dimensions
Destination address
Selected shipping method

Shipping charges will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

2 Free Shipping Promotions
We occasionally offer free or discounted shipping promotions:

Only valid for standard ground shipping (unless otherwise specified)
Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated
Only applies to eligible shipping addresses
Excludes Alaska and Hawaii (unless otherwise specified)

.3 Sales Tax
Applicable state and local sales taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on the shipping destination.

5. International Shipping

We do NOT ship internationally.** All orders must be shipped to addresses within the United States (excluding states where we cannot legally ship alcohol).

6. Order Tracking

6.1 Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive:
A shipping confirmation email
A tracking number
A link to track your package

6.2 Monitoring Your Delivery
We strongly recommend:
Tracking your package regularly
Being available for delivery
Arranging for someone 21 to receive the package if you are unavailable
Contacting the carrier directly if you need to schedule a delivery window or arrange pickup

7. Damaged or Lost Packages

7.1 Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged:
DO NOT REFUSE the package at delivery
Accept the delivery and note the damage with the driver
Take photos of the damaged box and contents
Contact us within 8 hours at perspectionspiritsatgmail.com with photos and your order number
We will work with you to resolve the issue replacement or refund

7.2 Lost or Stolen Packages
Packages are considered delivered once confirmed by carrier tracking
We are not responsible for packages stolen after successful delivery
We recommend shipping to a secure location or workplace if theft is a concern
For packages marked as delivered but not received, contact the carrier first to verify delivery location

7.3 Claims Process
All damage loss claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery date
We will work with the carrier to file insurance claims when applicable
Resolution may take 10 business days depending on carrier investigation

8. Weather Related Shipping Considerations

8.1 Temperature Concerns
Extreme temperatures can affect product quality:
Summer Hot Weather: We may delay shipments or use expedited shipping during extreme heat
Winter Freezing Weather: We may delay shipments during severe winter conditions
Temperature related delays are for product protection and your safety

8.2 Weather Holds
During extreme weather events:
We reserve the right to hold shipments until conditions improve
You will be notified of any significant delays
No additional charges will apply for weather-related holds

9. Licensure and Compliance

9.1 Our Licenses
Your Company Name holds all necessary federal and state licenses to ship alcoholic beverages, including:
Federal Basic Permit TTB
State shipping licenses for all destinations we serve
All required local permits

9.2 Recipient Compliance
By placing an order, you certify that:
You are at least 21 years old
It is legal to receive alcohol shipments at your delivery address
You will not provide alcohol to anyone under 21
You will comply with all applicable laws regarding alcohol possession and consumption

9.3 Regulatory Changes
Alcohol shipping laws change frequently. We reserve the right to:
Cancel orders to addresses where shipping becomes prohibited
Modify our shipping policies and destinations without notice
Refuse service in compliance with regulatory requirements

10. Order Modifications and Cancellations

10.1 Before Shipment

Orders can typically be modified or cancelled if not yet shipped
Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled or rerouted

10.2 After Shipment
Shipped orders cannot be cancelled
Address changes after shipment may not be possible due to carrier restrictions on alcohol
Returned shipments will be subject to our return policy see Section 2.3
