How It All Began

Perspection started with a dream Crystal carried for more than fourteen years: to create a spirits brand of her own.

Before creating a bottle, she wanted to understand what was inside one. What made one spirit memorable while another was forgettable? Why did some brands create lifelong loyalty while others became just another label on the shelf?

That curiosity led Crystal and Roger to create The Liquor Connoisseur, a platform dedicated to making the world of spirits more approachable through education, conversation, and discovery.

What began as a way to share their passion quickly became something much larger.

They sat down with distillers, bartenders, brand founders, blenders, and craftspeople from across the industry.

Each conversation revealed something unexpected.

Every bottle carried a story.

Every distillery reflected the people behind it.

Every spirit represented years of passion, craftsmanship, and purpose.

Those conversations changed how they viewed the industry.

More importantly, they inspired a simple but powerful question:

What if a spirits brand was built around conversation itself?

That question became Perspection.
